Carbide Tools Ltd provides standard carbide cutting tools, custom tool manufacturing, regrinding and sharpening services, and technical consultation. We aim to keep all product descriptions, specifications, pricing, and availability as accurate and up to date as possible. However, we reserve the right to make changes to our offerings, pricing, or services at any time without prior notice.

All prices on our website are displayed in New Zealand Dollars and include GST unless otherwise noted. Payment is required in full at the time of purchase and must be made via our secure payment systems, which include Stripe and Windcave. By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and accept any applicable transaction fees.

We ship orders both throughout New Zealand and internationally. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. You are responsible for ensuring your delivery details are complete and accurate. We are not responsible for delays or lost parcels caused by incorrect address information, courier issues, or customs processing in your country. Title and risk in the goods pass to you at the time they are dispatched from our warehouse.

If you wish to return a product, standard tools that are unused and in original condition can be returned within fourteen days of delivery. All returns are subject to an administration and restocking fee. Refunds are not offered on custom-made tools, regrinding services, used items, or any product that has been altered. Please contact us before returning any item so that we can confirm eligibility and issue instructions.

Customers who create an account on our website are responsible for maintaining the security of their login credentials. You agree not to share your account with others or allow unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that breaches these terms or is involved in suspicious or  abusive activity.

All content on our website, including but not limited to text, product images, technical specifications, downloadable files, graphics, and brand assets, is the intellectual property of Carbide Tools Ltd or its licensors. No part of this website may be copied, reproduced, republished, or distributed in any form without prior written consent.

By submitting product reviews, comments, or other content to our website, you grant Carbide Tools Ltd the right to use, reproduce, and publish your contributions for promotional and operational purposes. We reserve the right to edit or remove any content submitted to the site if it is found to be inappropriate, offensive, misleading, or in breach of the law.

All products sold by Carbide Tools Ltd are covered under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If you believe a product is faulty or not as described, please notify us within seven days of receiving it. Custom tools are guaranteed to match the specifications agreed upon prior to manufacture, but no further warranty applies unless stated in writing. Regrinding services are performed with care and precision, but outcomes depend on the condition of the tool received.

Our liability to you, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service in question. We are not responsible for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential loss or damages resulting from the use of our products or website.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, industrial action, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, or courier delays, we may be unable to fulfil orders on time. In such cases, we will make every effort to communicate delays and find suitable solutions, but we shall not be held liable for any resulting loss or inconvenience.

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute arising in relation to these terms or your use of the site shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.

We may update or revise these terms and conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of the website after any updates indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
